LONG BEACH (CNS) - Two men were stabbed by an assailant in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Pacific Coast Highway, near Cedar Avenue, at about 10:25 p.m. Friday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The victims were taken to a hospital with stable vital signs, while the suspect fled the scene on foot, police said.
No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
