The California Lottery revealed the winner of the historic $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot in October 2023.
Lottery officials said Theodorus Struyck represented a group of winners who purchased the ticket at Midway Market in Frazier Park. Further details about Struyck and the group, including how many people were involved, were not made public.
Midway Market received a $1,000,000 bonus check for selling the ticket.
The October win was the second largest in the game’s history. It was also the second consecutive billion jackpot won in California.
