A million-dollar reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for a 2019 murder in Sylmar.
Omar Alexander Cardenas was added to the top of 10 of the FBI’s most wanted list.
“Cardenas is wanted for murder by the LAPD and the FBI for his involvement in the murder of Jabali Dumas, a crime that occurred on August 15, 2019, in Sylmar,” Akil Davis, the assistant director in charge of the FBI's L.A. field office, said. “Detectives and prosecutors allege that Cardenas fired several rounds from a semi-automatic handgun, striking the victim in the head. It is unknown whether the victim was known to Cardenas; however, through our investigation, we believe that to be true.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. Anyone outside the country who has information for agents can stop by the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
