
A $250,000 reward is being offered for the arrest of the suspect who shot and killed a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy in Palmdale.
On Saturday just before 6 p.m., Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was shot while in his patrol car at the intersection of Sierra Highway and East Avenue Q, the department said. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
Investigators say a dark colored 2006-2012 Toyota Corolla has been “identified as a vehicle of interest.”

Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger has authorized a $100,000 reward, while the City of Palmdale authorized $100,000, and the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs authorized $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved in the deadly shooting.
