Vehicle goes over side of cliff in Malibu; motorist hospitalized

Paramedics rushed a motorist to a hospital after his vehicle went over the side of a cliff Monday in Malibu.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11:19 a.m. to the 2900 block of Sequit Drive, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer.

Paramedics took one person to a hospital, he said. The person's condition was not immediately known.

ABC7 reported that the vehicle went at least 300 to 400 feet over the side of a cliff with witnesses saying they heard someone yelling from the crash scene.

There was no other immediate information.
