Police sought the public's assistance Wednesday in identifying a man suspected of an assault in Santa Monica.
The attack occurred around 12:35 a.m. Sept. 22 near the 1400 block of Alley 5, according to the Santa Monica Police Department. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area eastbound on Santa Monica Boulevard toward Seventh Street, police said.
Detectives described the suspect as a man in his 20s or 30s with bleached blonde hair and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt and shorts and has tattoos on his forearms.
