A dozen trees on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood were given an illegal trim.
Trees near the La Cienega Blvd. intersection were cut and city officials said the illegal tree trimming is felony vandalism.
Officials believe the incident happened on June 19. City workers had the day off, so they weren’t watching.
Director of Community Safety Danny Rivas told WeHo Times he thinks an outside contractor was hired to trim the trees. Community members said the trees look terrible.
