SAN PEDRO (CNS) - A 19-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy are in the hospital after they were shot during an altercation in San Pedro, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday and police responded to Mesa and First streets east of Pacific Avenue where they learned the victims were engaged in an argument with a woman when the female suspect drew a gun and shot both victims, LAPD Officer Annie Hernandez told City News Service.
The suspect ran away from the scene and the victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, Hernandez said.
Fox 11 reported a Good Samaritan assisted the victims before paramedics arrived.
The suspect ran away and is at large.
The shooting is under investigation.
