A woman was taken to a hospital after being shot in the early hours Wednesday.
Just after 5 a.m. Wednesday, officers received reports of shots fired near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and St. Andrews Place in Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers found the woman suffering from gunshot wounds and transported her to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The suspect was still at large, and a description was unavailable.
