NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Donald Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen will not be leaving prison to serve out the rest of his sentence in home confinement, ABC News reported Friday afternoon, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Cohen is serving a three-year sentence at a federal prison in upstate New York, but in mid-April it was reported that he would be released early due to the coronavirus outbreak, according to multiple outlets, citing his lawyer Roger Adler.

ABC News reported Friday that it appears all of the prisoners at the Otisville facility who were granted home confinement have lost those privileges.

The Bureau of Prisons has yet to comment.

Cohen is scheduled to be released in November 2021. He was slated to finish the remainder of his sentence in home confinement, likely in Manhattan.

He also was expected to quarantine for 14 days at the prison.

At least fourteen inmates and seven staff members have tested positive for the virus.
