Remember running into a Disney Store to buy that plush stuffed Elsa (from "Frozen" fame) doll or picking up a Patch and Rolly salt and pepper set?

Welp, sad news for you. The Disney Store is closing at least 60 locations in North America.

"While consumer behavior has shifted toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what consumers expect from a retailer," said Stephanie Young, president of Disney's consumer products, games and publishing unit, in a press release in a CNN story.

The company wants to focus more on e-commerce rather than brick-and-mortar. Moreover, people can still buy merchandise at the theme park stores and at https://www.shopdisney.com/

Meanwhile, locally, "A Touch of Disney" opens later this month outdoors at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim. Across the country, Disney World has been open to customers.
