Here’s the latest:

11:30 a.m., Oct. 19: FLORIDA PARK REOPENS AFTER BEING CLOSED FOR WEEKS AMID LAUNDRIE SEARCH

The Florida park that neighbors the marshy reserve where authorities have been searching for Brian Laundrie has reopened to the public after nearly a month.

The Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park reopened to the public on Tuesday, the City of North Port told NewsNation reporter Brian Entin.

Law enforcement has been searching both the 160-acre park and the 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve since Laundrie disappeared around Sept. 13.

His father, Chris Laundrie, entered the park with authorities earlier this month as he briefly joined the search for his son.

11:20 a.m., Oct. 19: LAUNDRIE PARENTS IGNORE QUESTIONS AT WALMART

Brian Laundrie's parents, Chris and Roberta, left their home in North Port, Florida, on Tuesday morning to shop at Walmart, video shows.

The couple ignored questions from the media as they loaded items into their red pickup truck.

They've remained silent, only speaking through their attorney, since Gabby Petito was reported missing on Sept. 11 and later found dead. Their son disappeared days later on Sept. 13 and has not been located.

11:00 a.m., Oct. 19: VIDEO SHOWS POSSIBLE BRIAN LAUNDRIE SIGHTING ON FLORIDA PATH

New video shows a man on a bicycle pedaling wildly down a country road in Florida—and some people believe it may be fugitive Brian Laundrie.

The video was taken on Oct. 9 at a multi-acre property in Dunnellon, a small town in Marion County about 180 miles north of the Laundrie family home in North Port.

In the video obtained by TMZ, a man who bears some resemblance to Laundrie can be seen biking down a sand path in a remote area. He has a backpack on and is wearing a ball cap.

The unnamed owner of the property reportedly submitted the video to the FBI as the manhunt for Laundrie continues.

It’s one of many potential Laundrie sightings that have been reported to authorities across multiple states since he disappeared in mid-September.

10:30 a.m., Oct. 19: FORMER NY CO-WORKER SAYS BRIAN LAUNDRIE WAS A ‘WEIRDO’

A man who used to work with Brian Laundrie at a Long Island garden center said Laundrie was a “weirdo” and “chameleon” who worried about people’s “zen” and could quickly lose his temper.

Michael Livingston, 31, told Fox News that he was a landscaper for the garden center and worked with Laundrie in both 2017 and 2018.

He said Laundrie worked at the sales counter, in addition to doing odd jobs, and was “a good employee who knew how to talk to people.”

“He knew how to make people like him, he knew how to make people happy, and he knew how to make people buy the product that we had, honest,” Livingston said. “He had the same kind of air you would be taught if you worked at a dealership.”

And while Laundrie “never came across as the kind of person that would be the killing type,” he “was kind of a guy who would get p***ed off pretty quick,” Livingston said.

Laundrie was also “a big yoga nut, always telling me, ‘I gotta worry about my Zen,’” Livingston said. “And I thought he was this weirdo.”

Livingston said Laundrie’s girlfriend, Gabby Petito, would visit him at the store several times a week. She would ask the staff how they were doing and talk about her interest in traveling.

“Gabby, she was always a sweetheart, very peaceful,” Livingston said. “She was always really nice to me, and she was really outgoing.”

Livingston said Laundrie wanted to travel too and that might be the “only reason why she settled for him.”

Livingston said he never saw Laundrie being abusive to Petito, but he did appear to be prone to jealousy if she was around other men.

“He would come over and do the boyfriend thing, put his arm around her, give her a kiss, very possessive,” Livingston said.

Laundrie and Petito were both from Long Island, where they graduated from Bayport-Blue Point High School before eventually moving in with Laundrie's parents in Florida.
