UPDATE: President Joe Biden said in an interview Tuesday that Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation confirms the sexual harassment allegations against him.

ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos asked Biden if Cuomo should leave office if the investigation confirms the allegations. Biden answered, “Yes.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James released the findings of her report, confirming the allegations that Gov. Andrew Cuomo harassed women.

Biden also said he has not spoken with Cuomo today.

"The independent investigation has concluded that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and in doing so violated federal and state law," James said at a press conference Tuesday.

Cuomo "created a hostile environment for women," she added.

James' office launched its investigation in March, after current and former female staffers in the governor's office claimed they were sexually harassed by the 63-year-old lawmaker.

Two outside lawyers were hired to conduct the probe: former acting Manhattan US Attorney Joon Kim and employment discrimination expert Anne Clark.

Cuomo has denied the allegations of sexual harassment.

“My attorney, who is a non-political former federal prosecutor, has done a response to each allegation. And the facts are much different than what has been portrayed. That document is available on my website. If you are interested, please take the time to read the facts and decide for yourself,” said Cuomo in a televised statement.

A number of lawmakers, including New York Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, are calling for Cuomo to resign.
