Kim Kardashian pulled no punches in her opening monologue on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
The first punches, albeit, she took at herself, pointing out the infamous video that launched her pop culture career.
Kardashian-West then went after O.J. Simpson, the first Black person she said she met, admitting she’s still unsure of his innocence.
“I’m a Kim, not a Karen,” she declared, wondering how her mother knew better than to name her that but did not foresee her stepfather being transgender.
After hinting she might run for office, she clarified she was only joking, lamenting they couldn’t afford to have “three failed politicians in the family.”
Her husband, Kanye West, made an unsuccessful run for president in 2020. More recently, her ex-stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, ran for governor of California in the November recall against Gavin Newsom, earning just 1% of the overall vote.

In the show's second sketch, Kardashian delivered more laughs at her own expense. She delivered Bachelor-style news to a room full of her ex-husbands that included cameos from Blake Griffin, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, John Cena, and Jesse Williams.
