New photos released by the FBI show the suspect in Wednesday morning's terror attack on Bourbon Street planting homemade bombs in the French Quarter.
FBI officials released those photos Thursday evening. They apparently show Shamsud-Din Jabbar carrying one of the devices while walking through the Vieux Carré. Another photo shows one of the ice chests in which Jabbar apparently placed one of the bombs.

"Surveillance footage from 2:03 a.m. CST shows Jabbar as he walked along Dauphine Street near Governor Nicholls Street," the FBI said in a statement that accompanied the photos. "The footage shows Jabbar dressed in a light brown long coat, a dark-colored button-down shirt, blue jeans and what appears to be brown dress shoes. The FBI is also releasing a photo of one of the coolers containing an IED, which was placed by Jabbar near the intersection of Bourbon and Orleans Street."

Federal agents say Jabbar later killed 14 people and injured another 35 when he used a rented truck to plow into a crowd near the intersection of Canal and Bourbon Streets before speeding down Bourbon and hitting a piece of construction equipment. The truck attack happened about an hour and 15 minutes after Jabbar placed the bombs. Police shot and killed Jabbar after he shot at responding officers.
The FBI is still seeking information from anyone who may have encountered Jabbar or one of his ice chests. Call 1-800-CALL-FBI or go to www.fbi.gov/bourbonstreetattack if you have information.
