Sofia Vergara is looking back and keeping it red hot.
The 48-year-old shared a throwback snap from some sort of photo shoot that required her to wear a fiery crimson bikini while sitting barefoot on a giant red stiletto heel.
Vergara kept a sense of humor about the image while sharing it to her more than 21 million followers.
“I forgot to post this #tbt yesterday but I also forgot where was this, for what was this or why I was doing this!!!!????” she captioned the post. “For sure it was the 90s Miami.”
Whatever it was for, the actress looked stunning as she posed with one arm around the back of the massive footwear as her legs perched off of the edge of the front of the shoe.
The Colombian-born actress, who played Gloria Pritchett on “Modern Family” for 11 seasons, recently responded to criticisms that the character perpetuated stereotypes about Latina women.
“I always laughed about it because if Gloria was stereotypical, then that’s just what I am,” Vergara told Variety.
“I created Gloria as a mixture of my mom and my aunt and the women that I grew up with in Colombia -- they were loud, they were super intense, they were super colorful, super crazy, minding everybody’s business, super passionate and loving.”

She added: "If Gloria was a stereotypical woman, then what a magnificent stereotype. What was wrong with being Gloria? She was fantastic. She cared about everyone, she loved everyone, even the kids that were not hers, she was always trying to help everyone.”
Vergara, who for 7 consecutive years has topped the Forbes list for the highest-paid female actor in the world, currently serves as a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”
