If you have been paying attention to recent polling, it should come as no surprise that November's race to represent California in the U.S. Senate will be a runoff between Adam Schiff (D) and Steve Garvey (R).
Results from Super Tuesday saw Schiff garner 33.2% of the vote and Garvey 32.5%.

KNX News' Emily Valdez was at Steve Garvey HQ as he addressed his supporters.

Schiff emphasized his track record of defending democratic institutions, while Garvey leaned on his status as a political 'outsider,' saying he is running to, "Be the voice of the people."
Listen to the interviews:
If Garvey manages to beat Schiff in November, it would mark the first GOP victory in a CA statewide race in nearly two decades, with the last being in 2006.
