Police investigating deadly Santa Ana shooting

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KNX) – Police in Santa Ana are searching for witnesses in a deadly shooting Saturday evening.

Police said it happened in the area of 300 W. 3rd Street after 11:50 p.m. When police arrived they found a man, later identified as 32-year-old Pablo De Jesus Lopez, who was shot.

Lopez was later pronounced dead.

Police are unclear how the shooting unfolded. No descriptions of suspects were provided.
