CLEBURNE (1080 KRLD) - A child predator has pleaded guilty in Johnson County one day after he tried to cut his own throat right in the courtroom.
Wednesday, Donald Keeling was on trial when he started bleeding from the neck. He was taken to the hospital to get patched up from what turned out to be a superficial wound.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office believes Keeling smuggled in a small blade from the disposable razors inmates are allowed to use in jail.
Yesterday, Keeling was back in court where he changed his plea to guilty to four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
He was sentenced to life.
