DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police have arrested a woman in connection with a fatal accident that left a 12-year-old dead.
Reports say Ricky Tave was part of a group collecting donations for a youth football team on West Ledbetter Drive in south Dallas Saturday afternoon when he was hit by a car.
Tave was rushed to the hospital where he died.
According to police the driver stopped, but then got back in her car and took off.
Police later tracked down and arrested Jastasia King. She's charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
