DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police are searching for a man who stole an expensive ring from a pawn shop in Oak Cliff.
Police say the ring is valued at $27,000.
Police say the man visited the store in the 100 block of West Jefferson on Friday, January 18th and asked to see the ring, which was kept in the store's jewelry case. He had previously been into the store to look at the same item. A store employee got approval from a manager and removed the ring to show it to the customer.
Police say when it was time to return the ring, the man grabbed it an ran out of the store.
Police say the suspect is an Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes. He's about 5-foot-7 and weighs about 140 pounds. He has a tattoo under his right eye and another on the back of his neck. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a dark jacket and dark blue jeans.
