A security breach is putting the personal data, including Social Security numbers and clinical information, about some patients at risk.
Dallas-based physician staffing company EmCare says a data breach exposed personal data, including Social Security numbers and clinical information about some patients.
The company said it learned on February 19 the breach exposed names, dates of birth and Social Security and drivers license numbers for some patients, employees and contractors.
EmCare did not say how many people's information was exposed.
