FRISCO (1080 KRLD) - Dr Pepper/Snapple is officially picking up and moving headquarters to Frisco.
The company announced today it will now be located near the Cowboys practice facility at the Star.
During their meeting on Tusday, the Frisco city council agreed to sell the open land to Dr Pepper/Snapple.
The company's longtime headquarters has been at Legacy business park in Plano.
They already have ties to sports in Frisco. The Frisco Roughriders play their home games at the Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Construction on the new headquarters will start in August and the building should be ready in 2021.
