FORT WORTH (KRLD) - One person is in the hospital after a car hit a tree and crashed near the Daggett Montessori School. This school is on Jessamine Street west of I35W.
Fort Worth ISD says the car veered out of control and crashed into the school's front steps after hitting the tree. Luckily, no students were hurt.
MedStar says the driver of the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition. There was also a passenger in that car, but it's unclear if she was hurt.
Investigators are still learning if anything led up to the crash.
