DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - It turns out the FBI was warned about the man who was killed after opening fire at the Earle Cabell Federal Building in Dallas this week.
The FBI is now confirming it did get a call about Brian Clyde in July of 2016 warning that he was depressed, suicidal, and had a fascination with guns.
The FBI says because there was no specific threat no investigation was conducted.
Clyde's family has said he suffered with mental health problems and likely wanted to be killed Monday when he opened fire downtown.
