DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The federal courthouse in downtown Dallas will be back open for business today.

The Earle Cabell Federal Building was closed to the public Tuesday only employees were allowed in. The FBI’s Evidence Response Teams have finished processing the crime scene and the parking lot on the south side of the building is open as well as all streets.

Closer examination of the building shows several areas where bullets struck the walls during the shootout with 22 year old Brian Clyde.

Investigators continue to search for a motive in the shooting and have been looking into Clyde's Facebook posts and his military record. FBI officials say he was enlisted in the Army but was honorably discharged in 2017.

FBI officials are encouraging anyone who has video and/or pictures of the shooting to submit it to the Bureau at fbi.gov/dallasshooting.
