WACO, TX (KRLD 1080)- A jury finds a former Baylor University football player not guilty of raping another student.
It took a McLennan County jury around two hours to find 26-year-old Shawn Oakman not guilty of sexual assault.
The woman who claimed she was raped had testified she'd been drinking and was intoxicated when Oakman assaulted her.
She claimed she informed Oakman that she wanted to leave his duplex but he wouldn't allow it that night. Oakman's lawyer told jurors the two had consensual sex.
