COPPELL (1080 KRLD) - A former Coppell middle school teacher has been indicted for online solicitation, having sexual relations with a child under 14 and for an improper relationship between a teacher and a student.
45-year old Julie Jenkin Brewer was arrested in March of this year.
Brewer was a language arts teacher, according to the school district. She is no longer with the Coppell school district.
The Dallas County Sheriff's department said, at the time, the investigation started with a complaint of alleged inappropriate behavior between a teacher and student involving text and social media messages.
The Dallas County District Attorney's office is withholding the police report of the incident.
