FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Neighbors in Fort Worth where 8-year-old Salem Sabatka was recently kidnapped are talking about about safety improvements tonight.

Salem Sabatka was thankfully found safe after being abducted in front of her mother nearly two weeks ago. However, others in Fort Worth's Ryan Place neighborhood feel they could do more to improve their safety.

Their homeowner's association arranged tonight's meeting, inviting Fort Worth police officers and mayor Betsy Price to attend.

They plan to discuss steps to increase neighborhood safety, and talk more about the details surrounding Salem's abduction.

The accused kidnapper. Michael Webb. is in jail. He's expected to have his first court appearance this week.

Tonight's neighborhood meeting is at 7:00 p.m. at St John's Church in Fort Worth.
