FORT WORTH (KRLD) - The Fort Worth Animal Shelter is full and is offering a special deal to help find their pets loving homes.
Through Sunday, animal adoptions in Fort Worth are only $10. Tony Hiller with Fort Worth Animal Control says this time of year can be tough on animal shelters.
"Because it's breeding season for both dogs and cats, we tend to see quite a few animals this time of year. We call it puppy and kitten season," he says.
The fee includes spay and neutering the animals, shots, license, and microchip.
There are three locations. The main location on Main Street, and two accessory locations at PetSmart Hulen and PetSmart Alliance.
