The Grayson County Sheriff's Office has arrested a suspect in a sexual assault investigation. Deputies responded once the assault was reported on Saturday, June 15.
Deputies took Jeremy Mikel Stephenson into custody for indecency with a child. He posted a $30,000 bond and was released.
Investigators say Stephenson had previously worked as a firefighter and police officer in nearby cities, and is active at a church in Gainesville, Texas. They feel that due to these circumstances there may be more victims.
