Grounded Max Jets Extend American Cancellations

Fort Worth based American Airlines says with the continued grounding of the Boeing 737 Max aircrafts they are extending flight cancellations into June. American announced last month it would cancel about 90 flights a day until the Max jets were green lit to go. Sunday, they announced those cancellations will continue until June 5th.  Approval must come from the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, the National Transportation Safety Board and other regulatory authorities, as well as Boeing before the planes return to the air. American says customers will be contacted by email or phone concerning cancellations.
