DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A dying wish for a young girl fighting leukemia was fulfilled by a North Texas hospital today.
Medical City Hospital surprised 9-year-old Ellie and her family with a flash mob, and will be sending them to Hawaii to fulfill her dream of swimming, paddle boarding, and visiting Walt Disney's Aulani resort.
Medical City and the Make-A-Wish Foundation teamed together to make it happen. Medical City says their staff were honored to help make the wish come true - "care teams frequently witness the impact wishes have on their patients and this event provides a heartwarming opportunity to make a wish reveal even more memorable."
