DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - As of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oncor Electric Delivery said about 15,000 customers were still without power as a result of Sunday's severe storms.

Oncor spokesperson Jen Myers said, "The outages are still pretty much scattered across Dallas County. They're really not concentrated too much in one area. At this point, all the outages we have left are kind of the more troublesome areas in terms of instead of just needing one or two fixes to get the lights back on, we're talking about major infrastructure issues."

Myers said Oncor crews have been working 16-hour days after the destructive weekend storms knocked out power to more than 350,000 customers.

"We know the answer that everybody wants to hear is that everybody is going to be back on by tonight. What I will say is that when we started the day, we had more than double what we have now, so we've really cut that number in half. And I'd like to see that number come down even more as the evening goes on," she said.

Oncor said it is possible some affected customers could still be without power through Thursday.
