DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A Mabank mother will go to prison for life after pleading guilty in the murders of her young daughters.
In 2017, Sarah Nicole Henderson's little girls, ages 5 and 7, were shot and killed at the family's Mabank home.
Henderson's lawyers had floated the possibility of an insanity defense. But instead, yesterday she pleaded guilty to two counts of capital murder and accepted a sentence of life without possibility of parole.
Her plea deal also precludes any chance of an appeal which prosecutors say will bring the case to a permanent conclusion.
