FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A bank robber couldn't have possibly picked a worse target if he tried.

On Monday afternoon, a man walked into a Bank of America branch on East Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Apparently unbeknownst to the crook is the fact that the Fort Worth Police East Division station happens to be directly across the street.

It didn't take police long to catch up to him and slap the handcuffs on him.

There was no weapon involved, and there were no injuries -- except perhaps to the robber's ego.
