AUSTIN (AP/KRLD) — A gun activist who garnered national attention for running a Texas company that sells blueprints for making untraceable 3D-printed guns is facing seven years of probation after pleading guilty in a sexual assault case.
Cody Wilson, who was accused of having sex with an underage girl last year, once sparked a nationwide legal fight over the constitutionality of firearms made with a 3D printer. He resigned from the firm he founded after the arrest.
Wilson is undergoing sex offender therapy, he owes a fine and has to pay restitution to his victim.
