Tech giant Amazon announced Tuesday it will add 600 jobs at its tech hub in Dallas.
In expanding its presence in North Texas, the company also plans to lease an additional 100,000 sq. ft. of office space at Galleria Towers in north Dallas.
The new jobs in Dallas are among those spread out across the nation by Amazon, after its plans for a second headquarters in New York City fell through.
Amazon says the average salary for the positions is over $150,000 per year.
