Mark Hamrick with Bankrate.com says 55% of the people they surveyed felt this way.

Hamrick says, "And one of the takeaways from our new survey finds that only about one third of adults would be comfortable visiting local non-essential businesses. You might deem those as restaurants, bars, theaters, nail salons in under a month if they were to reopen."


He says more than 4 in 10 households in the United States say the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted their spending ability.
