ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - An Arlington police officer is up on family violence charges.
Sergeant Frank Vacante turned himself in yesterday. He was booked into the Tarrant County jail but is not listed as an inmate this morning - suggesting he has made bail.
The incident involved was on December 15th. Arlington police were called to a home Bardin Greene Drive to take a report on a complaint about domestic violence. They were told their colleague Vacante was the one who did it.
He's now on forced leave until this works its way through the courts.
In addition to the criminal investigation, there's also an internal probe underway
