FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Today several artists are making a big statement in downtown Fort Worth. Literally.
The message “END RACISM NOW" is being painted on Main Street in Sundance Square.
The words "END" and "NOW" will be painted in white today. "RACISM" will be painted in black tomorrow. While that’s happening, folks will get the chance to sign their names within the white letters.
Artists Letitia and Sedrick Huckaby were recruited to work on the project, and they say the response has been overwhelming."In the midst of all the negativity you see, it's so nice to see so many people come together to say enough is enough," Laticia said. "And they're willing to sign their name to that."
The words “END RACISM NOW” will be painted in black and white over all lanes of traffic in the 800 block of Main Street, immediately north of the Fort Worth Convention Center.DETAILS --https://t.co/iXSfBMQ0Cm pic.twitter.com/BbJMGQeRa3
