FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A car goes into a ravine in west Fort Worth, and it's not discovered until days later.
Around 6 pm Tuesday, someone called Fort Worth Police to report a vehicle that had gone into a ravine near the 820 West Loop and Team Ranch Road.
At first, police couldn't find the wreckage, given the tall grassy nature of the terrain. The officers eventually did find it after being flagged down in the area.
Police spokesman Brad Perez says it's likely that the car had been there for days instead of hours. One person was found dead ini the vehicle and another was found injured, but still alive, and was rushed to a local hospital.
There has been no word on the person's identity or condition.
The cause of the crash is unknown, and it's also unclear how the person found alive was able to survive for so long.
