If your goal is to run a full marathon next year, there's one less local option.
In order to encourage greater social distancing, the 2021 Cowtown Marathon is eliminating several events.
The Full Marathon, Ultra Marathon, and Kids 5K will be virtual only next year.
The kids 5k, is the largest youth event in the nation, typically attracting 8,000 racers.
Also, the date of the Cowtown Marathon will move from late February, to May 8th of 2021.
The 5K, 10K and Half Marathon will be the only in-person races all held on May 8.
