There's a sharp uptick in Coronavirus cases at the TCU campus in Fort Worth, leaving both students and administrators worried.

TCU's fall semester only started ten days ago and the increase in cases is alarming, starting at about 50 positive cases a week ago to 111 on Monday to 257 yesterday.


Two Sorority houses are on a 14-day quarantine after the members were tested Tuesday. No one but residents can even enter those buildings until the quarantine runs its course.

Administrators have reminded students they shouldn't be going to, or hosting, parties.

The student newspaper, TCU 360, is also raising the prospect that if students don't observe the proper  precautions TCU may follow the lead of other colleges like Notre Dame and Michigan State and go to online classes only until the outbreak is under control.
