DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - More than a dozen patients have been treated in Dallas County hospitals for vaping-related conditions recently.
Dallas County Health and Human Services reports 14 cases with the age range from 16-to-44.
The most serious, so far, is a Tyler teenager who was once considered near death. Recently she was weaned from a ventilator but still requires supplemental oxygen.
Today, Dallas County Commissioners are expected to talk over their concerns but no action is expected.
In Tarrant County, eight cases of probable vaping-related lung illnesses have been reported.
