DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Pay is rising faster for Dallas-area workers compared with other parts of the country.
New federal numbers show Dallas average wages were up more than five percent in the 12-month period that ended in the third quarter of last year.
That's the biggest jump for that period in three years and it exceeded increases in the rest of the country.
And it's also a welcome change from the recent trend that has seen Dallas wage growth lagging in four of the previous five years.
