DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Later today the Dallas City Council will consider a one-year emergency agreement to provide mobile coronavirus testing.
The city wants to test around 4,000 people every day.
The council plans to use $660,000 from coronavirus relief funds provided by the Treasury Department to pay for the testing.
If the plan is approved, the Assistant City Manager Jon Fortune says the city would offer up to 60 tests a day in targeted ZIP codes that have shown the highest number of the coronavirus.
