DALLAS (NBC DFW) - The first confirmed COVID-19 patient in Dallas County went home from the hospital Saturday, officials say.

The 77-year-old man went home in "great shape," tweeted Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins.

@DCHHS 1st case, a 77 year old man is leaving the hospital in great shape. His wife was also positive, and she was never sick enough to need admission.
