Dallas Diocese Elementary Schools Outside Dallas County Will Open August 19th

While the Dallas County order to delay school openings is meant to apply to private religious schools, the Roman Catholic Church's Dallas Diocese says it's schools outside Dallas County will open on time and run on their normal schedule.

The Diocese has released guidelines, saying it can keep students, teachers and staff safe. 

All of the Diocese's elementary schools that are not in Dallas County can open for in-person learning as early as August 19th.

Those in Dallas County can open as early as the Wednesday before Labor Day.

Masks will be mandatory for everyone.
