Townzen says his actions that night, saved her life.

"I don't know even know how to thank him. I tried to find a card, but Hallmark doesn't make a card that says thank you for saving my life," says Townzen.

Harnett says he's inspired by Townzen.

"She told me that she wanted to live and it made me feel good. She's a fighter, just to be where she is. It's incredible," says Harnett.

Townzen's ex-boyfriend was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
